Default validating

Hi

To validate a SIR visa for hubby, me and two kids, do we all need to travel to oz to validate, or can just hubby (as main applicant) go alone and validate for us all?

Thanks

You all need to go. Hubby must enter first - i.e present his passport before the rest of the family present theirs.

Hi..........sorry if I appear a bit thick!!:.)

So, hubby cannot go over alone first, then several months after, the rest of the family follow....as long as it is before the visa validation date.....I need to know for booking flights etc.

Sorry again for my confusion

Hi Molly

He sure can go on his own, and does not even have to be physically in Australia when you and the rest arrive, as long as he has previously validated - and, as you say, you and the family validate before the initial entry date condition.
