Hi guys.
We are having our chest xrays tomorrow for our 457 application. But, we havent been told to have one so are we jumping the gun here? Might it be the case that we dont need one. Also, we have been told by the doctors that we need to bring a "form" but havent a clue what. Can anyone help with what / where i can download it. I have been going through the immi site but cant find one. PLEASE HELP

Hello Buddy.

You will need Form 160-Radiological report on chest x ray for applicant to Australia.

You will also need to take along with you,your valid passport and a photocopy of the page in the passport with your name,date of birth and number.

You have to fill out part a before you attend and part b when you have your x ray.

I may be able to send you via e-mail the form 160 for you to download?

You will to take passport sized photos of each applicant as well.

*Edit, Is it just the chest xray you are having tommmorow, or the medical as well? coz there is a different form for the medical*

Thanks for getting back to me guys. We are only having chest xrays as this is all we "think" we need. Though not entirely certain. From what we have read, because neither of us has any health problems and are only applying for a 1 year 457 and niether of us will be visiting schools / hospitals etc we believe we only need xrays.

We are planning on staying permanent but the company advised me to do a one year visa and renew it for a furether year then apply for a pr visa
