Uploading documents - some questions
Hi,
I am in the process of uploading documents supporting my 176 Application. I had a few queries.
1. Evidence of age - Is a birth certificate necessary, or will a passport suffice ?
2. Scanning large documents - My degree certificate is a large document, which does not fit into a scanner. Is it OK to scan it in 2 parts and then upload as a single pdf document ? Same goes for my transcript as well.
3. Evidence of ENglish language ability for spouse - I read somewhere that if spouse has completed college education in english, copy of degree should suffice as proof. Is this correct ? If the degree certificate has Both ENglish & regional language, will this cause any problems ?
4. Family tree - What information is required in this document ? What level of detail is needed ? In my case my brother is sponsoring me. Do I show the family tree showing just our parents and us, or is it supposed to have some more detail ? Please advise
Regards
Manumani

Re: Uploading documents - some questions
* In Indian scenario you SSLC mark list will is enough for this
* There is no degree/consolidate mark list is not that big not to fit into scanner if then spilit by two JPG and convert into single JPG or use some PDF converter like PDF Fill ( Let me know issues on this)
* A certificate from there institution stating that she studied UG/PG in english medium is enough for that
* Some one will clarify this - I am not aware this

Re: Uploading documents - some questions
Thanks Shiva.
Let me reword and say that my degree certificate does not fit into the scanner that I have which obviously is a small one that scans only A4 size pages.
What I have done is, instead of splicing together jpg, I have scanned two halves separately and created a pdf (2 pages). I hope this is OK. Atleast I have uploaded something for now, before the 28 day deadline expires. I shall scan the complete document as soon as I get access to a larger scanner and upload once again.
Now all I need is some clarity on the family tree.
