Default UK Passport for child born in OZ!

Hello everybody, our story is usual baby born in Oz from british parents but PR's in OZ is OZ citizen by birth ( OZ passport have been obtained and recieved yesterday)
Well now the question about applying for the UK passport as I got to there web but it is not very big help.

1.I still can't understand if Australian Birth certificate will be ok for application or I need to obtain another one:curse:?

2 If it is another certificate where from I get it, and what docs do I need to obtain it.

3.My huband going for few weeks to Uk could he apply for UK Passport there without a child? or if not a pasport then to that birth certificate.

4. Could I use the childs australian passport as ID to apply for UK passport? o

PLEASE HELP me

Many thanks

You just need to provide a birth certificate showing the parent's names. The Australian one is the only one your child will have - so it will have to do!

It's just as straightforward to apply in Australia for the passport as it is anywhere else.

You cannot use the Australia passport as ID instead of the birth certificate - you have to provide the EXACT documents that the British passport office asks for. All are listed here:

Separate to the main question, you should also get the child a citizenship certificate. Here's why:
