Uk family wanting to start a new life in OZ! Where to start?!

Hey, im new here!
i was hoping if anyone knows where to start in regards to moving?
We are a family of 5 ( 3 humans and 2 pups ) and would love to start a new life aborad.
I am currently a prison officer and my partner is in telecoms, no idea where to start - we are looking for jobs etc etc but its seeming like theres a lot of dead ends
Any advice would be much appreciated x

My partners job is telecoms supervisor/civils supervisor or build supervisor any of those
I have an extensive history in mental health working as well but not qualified nurse - have only done assistant health care etc

I do have to say that this country is nothing like Canada, so not sure what you are looking for

There was a time when UK accents were very prominent within the prison service. A quick look at present requirements, suggests this vocation is no longer on the required list. That surprises me a little considering the state of the prison system, in terms of over crowing etc. just as an example the number held within the system increased from 29,400 back in June 2012, to 46,600 in June 22.
Not sure what above comment is referring to by stating we are nothing like Canada? In fact we are very like Canada, experiencing many of the same problems as them. Inflated housing , mostly due to record un needed immigration. The result is massive homelessness, we in Australia have not reached the level of Canada, but the writing in clearly on the wall. It would be hard to find a country more similar to Australia, sharing similar problems than looking to Canada.
Saying that it may be easier to apply for a position there than Australia? You would need to consult their immigration requirements.
