Transfer of PR Application to NZ
Hi,
Has anybody ever managed to transfer their PR application to NZ? I filed my
PR application in India but I am now in NZ on a long-term visitor visa and I
want to get my application transferred here for further processing.
Tried speaking to NZIS here in NZ but they say I will need to contact the
NZIS office where I filed my application.

Yes and no: my PR application was lodged in Auckland, and sent over by NZIS to the Sydney office for processing. When I received approval in principle, i had to speak to the Sydney office and ask them to send it over to Auckland so I could get PR/RRV labels issued.
It is Always best to contact only the office that is processing your application - as they have all the paperwork. A NZIS office in NZ won't want to know as it's not one of 'their' apps.
