Default TRA Upgrade to Priority

Hi

does anyone know if you can upgrade from standard to priority for TRA assessment, if so how ?

Hi Debi-Jane,

I'm sure this can be done by sending them the difference in processing fee, but you should email them to confirm. I think it would be relatively rare for them to receive a standard application these days.

HI

you have to pay more for priority dont know if you can contact TRA and pay the extra to upgrade?? although we paid priority and it still took nearly 5 months to process!!

Hi, thanks for your replies. So, i could pay the extra but not necessarily get the reply any quicker?

Does some standard TRA applications take longer than 6months, probably so, dont know what to do now.

In your opinion, is it worth sending the difference,i.e should we receive it back sooner?

I depends on when you first sent your TRA app... if youve only just sent it then i probably would change it to priority however your app goes to the end of the priority queue !!!! i think the timescale for priority processing just now is anything from 13 - 18 weeks !! there doesnt seem to be any consistency !!
