Smile TRA info- Is this enough???

Hi all!!

Well we are well and truly engrossed in this really wonderful business known as TRA application !!!! Loving every minute of it and thinking of registering as a MARA migration agent !

Anyway, enopugh of my sarcasm! Just wondering if anybody could advise if the following docs will be sufficient to send. We are applying for carpenter/joiner, so heres what we have put together so far!

YTS training papers.
Apprenticeship indentures.
C&G Certificates( Craft and advanced craft and communications)
C&G Record of achievement cert.
Ref from apprenticeship(owner)
Ref from apprenticeship(Site manager in depth, per year, what J learnt and did)
Refs from various employers over years( J always been self employed and subbie, so have got ref from most of these!)
Ref from employer for past 12 years, in detail.
Tax returns for past 5 years(can do more if needed)
Stat dec stating what has done over years, what has learnt, tools used, jobs completed etc.

Do you think this is enough?? Please say YES!!!!!! Otherwise Im emigrating to Bognor Regis!!!!! Thanks for help!

Seems to be ok, we had it easier as Si only subbed for one guy in 7yrs ( bit wrong with tax office but hey!) we inc. what you did but less refs... as didnt need them.

If you're confident that you've covered everything, dont forget passport biodata pages etc and certify everything etc. we inc birth cert for Si as TRA was his. Think you've got it............

Get it DHL'd via interparcel if you havent sorted something. up to 1kg for £20... Dont forget to print the labels online and inc when they collect so your parcel can be scanned and you can track online if needed...

Good luck, S-j

Sounds good to me

Sounds about what we did and we got our Carpenter Joiner TRA

Good luck

p.s. make sure you have at least 2 copies of everything. You'll need to include a certified copy of your whole TRA application with your visa and you may also need a furthe copy for when you're over t'other side

The only last one I would include would be a reference from your accountant. You said that your oh has been self-employed so this should not be a problem. As one of the previous posters has said while you are getting copies certified get 2 copies as you will need lots of them for the main application.

Good luck, Mick

Hi Sam and Jules

Sounds like you've done alot. My OH is a gardener so we also included receipts for tool and maintenance purchases, plus copies of advertising done for the company.

Anything and everything! Don't forget the mugshots!!

Good luck, Jo

if you're self employed you need to get references from builders merchants or any company that you purchase materials or tools from that you use to do your job, it all counts towards proving that you do what you say you do.
good luck with the app

AHA! I see! Well, best get on to some places and try to get more refs!

At this rate we will need a 20ft container just to ship our TRA app to Oz!

Hello Claire - everything you send to the TRA you will need to send in with your visa as a certified copy also. You will need to send the TRA pass letter too

It's great to see the back of the TRA I can tell ya

Yes I forgot to say we included a letter from the accountant that just briefly stated how long Dale was self employed for and how long they did the accounts for him.

Do I fancy doing another what? TRA? NO WAY NOT EVER EVER AGAIN *shudders at the memory*

Ooh yes sorry didn't notice it was a self employed one, yes refs from the builders merchants. We put some invoices in from warehouse suppliers too showing materials bought.
