can anyone tell me if my birth certificate needs to signed by anyone b 4 sending off with the rest of my other bits and if it does need to be signed can my friend who is an accountant do it ? many thanks

Do you mean the photocopy of your birth certificate? If so, yes it needs to be certified as a true copy by an official - like a solicitor or JP.

you need 2 copies of everything certified a true copy of the original. 1 cpoy to go with TRA and the other to go with your visa application. i have heard of accountants signing but my agent said it had to be a solicitor or a notory, or a justice of the peace.

And it has to be a full birth cert with parents names on and not just the small one Id say 3 copies of everything just in case because ya never know
