TRA assesment
Hi,
for past 8 years I've worked as the dtp/mac operator - I never really had any formal training and I'm wondering if anyone was in a situation like mine when it comes to TRA assessment. What documents did you present and how thorough you have to be - I mean, I've worked for some ad agencies and I can get references from them no problem but I would really appreciate any true stories.
thanks,
John
PS.Feel free to email me directly.

Husband is a printer and to get his TRA he had to state everything he had done in his training what machines he used what years he had done it ett etc, you have to put down everything from the day you started the job as a TRA is assesing your knowledge in your job, they want to know everything, if you do this then you should get back a successful TRA but make it too brief and it could come back rejected, I didn't realise a Mac Operator was on the skill list, good luck with the TRA, obviously if you can afford it an agent would help you through the process and let you know what is needed but lots of people have done it without.
