Timeline for PCC and Medicals
Hi All,
We just lodged our visa application (190) and are now looking into getting our Police Clearance Certs and Medicals done. We haven't been assigned a CO yet but since it takes forever to get PCCs (we need them from 3 countries, India, USA and Japan), thought we could get a head start on them.
I just read somewhere that there is a deadline for submission of PCCs and Medicals. I am a little concerned now, as both the American and Japanese consulates have warned us that it will take them 2 months or more to process the PCCs (yet to submit our application for this) and I haven't even begun to enquire about the Indian procedure.
SO,is there really a deadline/timeline for getting these documents ready??
Thanks!

Usually you are asked to supply them within 28 days, but DIBP are well aware tgat some countries are slow. As long as you let DIBP know you have applied and are waiting for tge response, you'll be fine.
