One can not provide you a fixed time line but one thing is for sure, it won't be long. Once all docs are MET, you should be hearing good news very soon. By the way, can you please share you application time line?
Best of Luck,
Regards,

Does Andrew know you plan to leave the UK? Rumours abound about a reunion gig at Wembley. He'll be bitterly disappointed!

The Department of Immigration and Citizenship recognises that the time
taken to process your application may be causing you and your family
concern.
We are seeking to finalise your application as soon as possible. You will
appreciate, however, that all non-citizens applying for visas to enter
Australia are considered on their individual merits and against legal
requirements set out in Australia’s migration legislation.
Unfortunately, there is no set time for the processing of applications for
skilled migration and therefore we are unable to provide you with a
definitive timeframe for finalisation of your application.
You can be assured, however, that the Department of Immigration and
Citizenship staff will do all they can to ensure that your application is
finalised as quickly as possible.

I have to say that personally I am starting to worry about how some people will cope when they reach Australia as they seem to have problems reading and interpreting plain English.

Why do so many people suddenly feel the need to constantly ask impossible questions? They never used to, applications would go in and everyone would wait until they got notification. How would a public forum have such information?

We're working on it as quick as we can mate, but other people were in the queue before you & we have to deal with them first. We have rules to follow you know, so we can give everyone a fair go. Sometimes we have to ask our cobbers in health, or a legal bloke & this can sometimes take a while.
