Is there a "good" time to hand in application forms?

Is there a "good" time to hand in application forms?

Somebody told me that it is better to hand in the application when they start the year of processing applications as you would be the first (well, hopefully) in the queue..

Have you heard of that?

You wouldn't be first unless there are none left over from the previous year - a highly unlikely situation

As Pollyanna said, unless they were starting from scratch it makes no difference. I think the important thing is to get in the queue asap as its not getting any shorter any time soon
