Temporary Business Visas

Up to 4 years. And after the 457 expires it is possible to get another one.
Hi Jeremy,
Thank you for clearing my confusion. I am very relieved.
On the last part of your anwser there was still something lingering with me.
Do I understand it correctly that at the end of the 2 year 457 visa, while still in
the employ of the sponsor,I may lodge for a renewal to the 457 visa?
If this is correct, does this mean that one can continue to apply for a 'renewal'
indefinitely? I presume that there would be a limit.
Also, does the end of the 2 year 457 visa indirectly mean that the employer (sponsor)
does not have any further obligation in maintaining the employment, because he would
be employing an illegal immigrant?
Thanks Jo
