Default Temp. spouse visa to Spouse PR - Clarifications please....

Hi all

Received my Spouse visa temporary (309) on Jun 12 and was asked to make
entry before Jul 01, which me and my daughter have done. Been informed
that processing for the Spouse PR visa will begin at around May 2006
which is approximately 2 years from the date of original application. I
would be grateful if someone can enlighen me on the following:

1. Once I get the Spouse PR visa what kind of residency
obligations will I need to comply with to retain PR status

2. My daughter has also got her visa by the fact of her being my
dependent. She might stay back while I move to Australia
shortly. We are planning for her to join us in about 2 years. I
am wondering if it will have any effect on her PR again in terms
of residency obligations in Australia.

Regards/Hari S
