Can anybody tell me where there is a definitive list of what animals you can or cannot bring into Australia when you immigrate please ? Or who I could contact to get one.
I'd like to take my 2 tortoises but I think I can't because they are reptiles.

For Tortoises it says

"Biosecurity Australia has not developed import conditions for this animal and as such AQIS cannot facilitate your import. Biosecurity Australia can be contacted on Ph: 61 (02) 6272 4465, Fax: 61 (02) 6272 3399 or by email [email protected]"

so maybe not, but worth dropping them an email I thibk?

yeh I definately would - i found their website and info a bit confusing when i was looking through it for my mother, so it definately wouldn't hurt to ask.
