Default Subclasses 309 (spouse temporary visa )... how long ?

hi,

I was cheking http://www.immi.gov.au to find out timeframe for spouse temporary visa (Subclasses 309) but nothing is there , would u help plZ??

Depends on what you provide and how clear it all is. Ours took 4 months, although it would have been a month quicker had our Officer got my email address correct!

mine will be very Straight and every thing is clear , i don't know if being form HR country will affect time frame ... ??!!

Also depends what country you are from and where you are lodging your application.

Hi Pollyana ,

Got a question , now i have been granted 175 visa about month ago , planning to travel on august.
what is the steps needed if i want to get engaged before leaving and how to make spouse visa later as i plan to come home again to marry after a year from now.
should i inform DIAC of what!!

Application Lodged - 22/April (Meds and Cops Pre-loaded)

CO :- 05/May
Requesting:-
1. Further documentation to show that you were in a spousal relationship
2. Form 80

CO :- 15/May
Requested ocumentation to show that you were in a spousal relationship very Specific dates

CO :- 10/June
Confirmation of reciept of extra Items and a warning that processing could take 3/4 months from Application date


Then........


12th JUNE--Visa Visa Visa

Then popped to Australia house to get the Big Expensive sticker in the Passport

Wow oh Wow - There is that travel shop......

I'm from Sweden and lodged our visa application in London in 4 June 06 and got the Visa 3 July 06 so pretty fast. Good luck
