Most people on here are going trades rather than uni courses, so you are best off finding the course you are interested in and seeing how much it costs. If it is anything like the trade courses the fees can vary wildly.

My Uni degree was about $11,000 per semester! You may find a course for $4000-5000 but be prepared to pay up!

My uni fees are $5,500 per semester thats at the University of Tasmania. I suggest you choose where you want to live in Aus and then contact the uni's in that area. Most uni's will have international student fee's ontheir web pages.

depends on the depth of your pockets and the uni
for example law degree at
bond uni at varsity $49.5k a year ( we know we have enquired )
griffiths uni at southport $4.5k a year for the same course
bond is totally private and griffith is state uni

bloody big difference

like someone else said choose your area find the local uni and check out their website

regards steve

I think the best starting point is the CRICOS website as any course you do has to be CRICOS-registered in order to get the student visa anyway. The website - http://cricos.dest.gov.au/ - has a great database to look through and costs are listed, plus the uni websites/contact details to then get further info on the ones you're interested in. This was invaluable to me when I was deciding which course to do.
