Studying on a bridging visa
Hi,
I am currently on a bridging visa while my application for a 487 visa is being processed. I am looking into doing a self study course where I do the work in my own time but have to go into TAFE to do practicals and exam (2 weeks altoghether) Does anyone know if I would have to pay International student fees or would I get away with paying the normal fee as it is not a full-time course?

Re: Studying on a bridging visa
Cheers Dorothy,
The 487 visa is a temporary resident visa so it would be 2 years before I could get permanent residency. Tafe are unsure which fee I would need to pay so they've told me to ring immigration to find out.

It will be international fees until you have a perminant visa.
