Student visa, short of points for PR
Hello people,
I am currently short of 10 points to get my PR and i've come here under a student visa.
I am a Personnel Officer and it figures on the immigration list.
Nest year i will be completing 1 year of studies here and i will be completing 900 hours in my field.
I am working only 20hours per week in my current professional field.
My question is:
Would i be able to apply for my PR if i've completed 900 hours of work or should i wait for another year?
Thanks for the advice

Hi,
Would you have your 10 points needed once you have completed your 900 hours?
Cheers

The 900 hours does not give any more points, unless it enables you to get a positive skills assessement, but then you wouldn't be able to get the normal visa people go to after being a student as that states you must have studies for 2 years, so basicly, no.
Not to be funny, but you are already here on the student visa..... did you not look into every avenue of getting your visa before you came?
