Default STNI

Hello!

I plan to migrate to Australia, but I'm not sufficient at the moment
with pass mark, i need 5 more points.

I have found an STNI site for Victoria.
I sent am my CV already. As I understand Victoria's government not gives
much visas for IT at the moment, so may be anyone knows some other sites
for STNI.
I mean sites from othes regions.

Regards,
Antique

Hi Antique,

there is no much chance to get nominated to STNI with an IT background.
Unless you are in a very specific field (Security, for example) it will get
very difficult to go this way.

Good luck anyway!!....

Enrique.-

The other participating states don't give many visas for IT either
now.

Hi,

I am also an IT professional(LAN/WAN/Networking), having 5 years of experience, applied for STNI,Victoria. Today i received an email saying that they are not in a position to nominate me.

Seems that not much STNI nominations are issuing.

Hello!

OK. Thank you Jeremy.

I think I have to wait a lil bit more to try to be qualified.

Any how I'm still interested in links to that sites.

Regards,
Antique

For the STNI participating states other than Victoria, take a look at:

Do you have the required certifications? Like a CISSP? I'm trying the
security route as well (good job security too), but, while I've been
working in InfoSec for years in one capability or another (currently as
manager), I've never gotten around to take the certification.

Had to cancel my scheduled test twice due to work demands. Good situation
to be busy in the present, but for migration, this could bite me in the
you-know-where.

If you get the nomination for Security, I'd be interested to hear whether
you got it with or without that blasted certificate.

Cheers and good luck
Mike

Victoria- STNI ?

Thank you in advance.

Hello Michael!

No, I don't have CISSP at the moment.
I'm working for this to pass it in nearest future.

Hi Antique,

As I see in the new list of ocupations in demand, IT Security is the only IT sector being considered. I am in this area and therefore Ã? hope to get a nomination.

Good Luck....

Enrique.-
