still waiting!!!Aussie sponser offer very slow!
Was offered 457 sponsor and job interview at expo, then had follow up email nxt day saying they want to do a telephone interview and that they felt hubby would be right for their company. They advised that they wanted do interview early last week and two weeks down the line we are still waiting!
Very disapointing, hubby phoned them and they said they are still sorting things out but would email nxt day- still not heard so feel very disheartened.
Is it normal for Australian employers to take a lot longer to get round to things? Anyone any advice?

I have a friend here in Adelaide who spent about three months from callings, interviews and more interviews until finally they hired him.

took us from april till july to finally get the contract sent to us .... finally applied in august for visa and that was granted in september

Thanks for your replys, did you find they didn't get back in touch when they said they would and that they seem very slow in getting on with it?
