Default spouse visa Statutory declarations

Hi everyone

Im just filling out my sponsor form for hubby. It says that I need
statutory declarations from friends etc regarding our relationship.

Does this mean they have to write a piece and sign it or do they have to have a special form or someting.
Anyone who has done this please could you tell me as I want to get it right first time.

Cheers BooBoo

I'm guessing your husband is applying for a spouse visa for Australia... but I could be wrong, you haven't really made it all that clear.

Anyway, I used form 888s for my stat decs for friends and family. They can be printed from www.immi.gov.au

Ensure you read the bit about what needs to be included. ie certified copies of their passport etc etc

Hi, yes I also thought that form 888 is used when you are in Australia. The embassy in the Netherlands has provided us with copies of the following form:
http://www.immi.gov.au/allforms/statdec.htm

we have used four of these and got family and friends to "fill the gap" as it were...

we too also used the stat dec forms 888 as we were told that the layout and wording of the uk and oz stat decs are very much the same. oh and ours were excepted without aa problem.
