Hi Nick,

Two years is the usual time frame from TR to PR and you'll get a letter with form to fill in a month or so ahead of when two years will be up.

All you need to do is make sure that you keep DIAC informed of your curret address so that they know where to send the PR paperwork in two years time

You should hear from DIAC (so long as they know where you live!) 2-3 months before the two year anniversary of your application (not granting) for the spouse visa.

If you haven't heard from them 1 month before the 2 yr anniversary, call them to find out what's going on as something may've gotten lost somewhere along the way.

Cheers

Steve
