Hi,

Does anyone know if I was able to get a Skilled Migrant (136) VISA, would my Wife also become a PR with me? Sounds silly I know but heard some conflicting advice and just looking to get it cleared up.

Also, if she does woulds she be eligible to work?

Thanks. Do we have to pay for a spouse Visa or is it part of the Visa fee's that I pay for my 136?

Whole family is covered by one fee. However if spouse does not have functional English there is a second instalment of fee used to fund English tuition in Australia.

And just to be very clear. Spouse also gets a 136 visa, not a "spouse visa". You will cause total confusion if you start using terms like that.
