My husband and I applied for our 175 visa in August so we've got at least another year to wait.
Is it worth him looking for an employer sponsored job in the meantime? Would it affect our application?
We've thought about state sponsorship but don't think we want to go down that route.

If this has been answered anywhere else I'd appreciate a link.

You can certainly do that and nothing will happen to the 175 visa, other than it will continue to work its way to the top of the pile slowly.

You cannot go down the stae sponsorship route without lodging a whole new visa application (with fee) now.

Thanks for your reply. It sounds like it could be a good option for us rather than twiddling our thumbs in the UK for the next year - 18 months!

Did I read somewhere on here that employer sponsored visas are taking 6 months to process?
