Hi, I was wondering if anyone could give me any advice on how to obtain sponsorship?

I was told about Workpac, which do 457 visa's has anyone had any experience with these?

My partner is a Plater which we have been told is the same as a Metal Fabricator in OZ, he is currently working Offshore i the North Sea on Oil Platforms but has worked in fab shops to. I have looked on seek etc, there are plenty of jobs but they all say you need a visa.

Have a look at the website www.thisisaustralia.com they advertise as having sponsors for this and other trades and are based on the Gold coast, QLD.
