guess if anyone on here knows much about Sponsored Family Visitor visa 679.

-How much bond the Australian sponsor would usually pay as requested? And is that a cash deposit or a credit card charge?

-How many times can the Australian sponsor apply for this visa ? For example,can the sponsor apply two 679 visas in a year?

I applied for mum couple of years back, and they asked for $8,000. But it varies and nobody can exactly predict how much they will ask. But as a rough guide you should expect nearly 10,000 per person visiting. And I think they only take direct bank transfer, so that will be like cash, and no credit card. I guess you could still pay by credit card, by taking a cash advance.

I am not sure if there is a limit to how many people you can sponsor.

The funny thing is that Immigration made some kind of mistake and returned my 8,000 back into my account while my mum was still here , makes me wonder what was the point of charging it.
