Default Speeding in Australia & effect on visa

Hi all,
While travelling (as a tourist in Australia) during March, I was caught speeding (70km/h instead of 60km/h) in VIC.
Of course I'm going to pay the fine. Is it going to effect our immigration process (PR based on skill) in any way?

Thanks
zaske

I only looked here to see what the 'Speeing' was that you mention in your thread title - thought it was some kind of strange new sport or something!

Nope it shouldn't affect your PR application - as long as you are not a serial offender and are honest about it.

I pretty sure it is so called "mistake" rather than criminal record, as far as you pay the fine

No, its not called a "mistake", whether you pay the fine or not. Its called a conviction for speeding.
