How helpful is the Skills matching database for applications for Australian immigration.

How many have had success finding a real job (that they liked) thru this?
I'm curious about the percentage.

Please share your success stories. In particular I'm interested in knowing about cases for Engineers (Mechanical, Electrical, Petroleum, Chemical, etc.)

It's not. I've never heard of anyone getting a job through it.

My membership status has nothing to do with anything. The fact is that I've been hanging around immigration forums for over 4 years and have seen a lot of people apply for visas. Nobody that I personally know of has found a job through the skill matching database.

I have had 2 agencys contact me and offer potential interviews from being listed in the skills data base, unfortunately these offers were not in the state that i wished to live in. ( my fault for nit putting WA on the info )
