skills assessment for child care
Hi
I was wondering if someone could help me, I am applying to have my skills assessed as a nursery nurse/child care worker. I have received the application form etc, but it asks for certain certified copies. I have most already but it asks for transcripts (statement of academic record). I would like to know what this means and what I have to obtain.
Thankyou for any help given
Louisa

what qualification do you have?..I interpret the transcript to mean the course handbook that you followed during your study. For me that was the NNEB diploma I got the course overview direct from cache..hope this helps wendy

Re: skills assessment for child care
Hi
Thanks for the reply. I have a Cache (level3) Diploma in Childcare & education. The application asks for the course description so I downloaded and printed the handbook (just the stuff stating how long the course is, what you need to do, hours with each age group, the different units, learning outcomes and syllabus) from the Cache website. I hope that this will cover both parts they require and I don't have to get anything else.
Thanks
Louisa
