Joe Dirt

I am a Uni student in FNQ and I am considering applying for residency as a
skilled migrant. I have been working in the US in IT for the last several
years, including operating my own computer service company for the last
two. Does anyone know how long my work experience is valid?

IT jobs are few and far between here in Cairns and I will probably find
employment in hospitality. But after I complete my degree, at the end of
'06, I would like to apply for residency.

In addition, my degree has nothing to do with IT. Will this be a problem?

Any feedback would be great. I am very interested in learning about
the experiences of others, even if remotely related to my situation.
