Yeah, but they've been fast-tracked to a UB40.

Being non-British, it took me a while to figure out that the only form of singing you were referring to was the blues.

(For non-Brits see: http://www.acronymfinder.com/af-query.asp?p=dict&String=exact&Acronym=UB40 )

Hi Nuta,

There are two streams. Post 1 November 2001 applications are processed in
Adelaide, and yours is one of them. On the basis that one of our clients
who applied in March 2002 has now been asked for medicals, yours will not be
very far away. But this is very unfair to the many people who applied the
previous year, or earlier, through the UK and elsewhere and are still
waiting for processing.

Cheers

From what I understand. Is all that AHC have to look forward to after the
visa backlog is cleared is the dole.

Which would also explain why they take so long.

George,
Thanks for explanation.
you are right that it is not OK that people applying earlier have to wait
longer-would be best if the procedure took three months wherever and
whenever applied. This is really strange why it takes so long in London. In
Adelaide beginning was slow because migration officers had to learn working
with this stuff. Now I really see they do a good job . Hope that the process
will be accelerated in London as well
Cheers
Nuta
