skill assessment for engineers
Hi all.
an enquiry regarding skill assessment for engineers. Do we fill up
the form that's only one page long which is for migration or the ones
that are few pages long which is for membership. What's the
difference between the forms for migration assessment and membership.

Re: skill assessment for engineers
Hello,
The big difference is if the country you obtained your degree/diploma in is a signatory to the Washington Accord. If it is then just fill in the one page with credit card details and send it off - in two or so weeks you should get your skill assesment result. If not then you need to complete a CDR. There is some info on previous discussions on this website, type in CDR in the search engine and you should get your result.
Hope this helps,
Sturgy
PS: You can see if your country is a signatory by looking on the IEAust website. You don't have to join the IEAust for them to assess you!
