HI,
No News as yet.

Sunnyside. You have to provide all documents relating to work for the Primary applicant. when you apply for PR. The primary applicant for the PR stage doesn't have to be the origional primary applicant. As long as you meet all the conditions for skilled job, and proof that you have worked full time for 12 months in the 2 years. You need a letter from your employer outlining at least 5 major functions that you do within that employ also along with pay slips, tax returns etc.

If anybody doesn't get SOL nominatted job then will it be qualified if that person show any kind of unlisted SOL job/work ?After full fill SIR condition and apply for PR will a applicant have to leave Australia or can stay there ?

Zareen,
As Part of the conditions you have to prove that you have worked in an job that is on the SOL. with letters from employers outling the 5 main duties that you undertake/took.

The job that you do now does not have to be the job that you were sponsored in as (in some states) in others it does. The main thing is you have to have been in skilled employment that appears on the SOL.
NO you do not have to leave Australia when you apply or when PR is granted
Regards

Liz and Nick

Hi Nickos12,

Thanks for your reply.I have applied as Marketing Specialist to SIR visa from Bangladesh.I think it is very hard to get a job of marketing related. If i take a course of hairdressing or my husband take a course of cooking along with related job,is it will be applicable for PR application ? Hairdressing and Cooking both are in the SOL list.

With thanks

Zareen,

Yes you can take employment in any skilled job that is on the SOL. But are you qualified and likely to get a job as a hairdresser or chef? If this was the case you would have come in on those skills. Its probably best to stick at your nominated work that you know something about.
It takes a long time to qualify for the proffessions you think you could take courses in. Don't forget a condition of the visa is that you work for at least 12 months in a Skilled job on the SOL

Hi Liz,

Just a quick question. Was your second stage SIR application an online application or a paper based application?

Thanks,
Yildirim.
