How long roughly would our container carrying our belongings take to reach Oz?

Mine has been estimated at 6-8 weeks. This is door-to-door delivery time. Think this is about average.

If its a full container 6-8 weeks
If its a part load with others 6 - 12 weeks

Hi there,
can u tell me which shipping company u r using and how much you are paying for your 6 boxes to be shipped across to OZ? i don't really have that much to take, probably about 6 boxes as well-small items, computer(of course), books, clothes, shoes, kitchen stuff (plates etc)

I'm shipping through Seven Seas - you can follow my reasoning here
http://britishexpats.com/forum/showt...r&pagenumber=1I forget the exact amount but it was about £320 that inc; door-to-door, insurance and tax (but not any extras that customs may charge on the other end.)
I asked for 10 boxes originally and they just take back off you what you don't use. They were really very helpful and all but one person on here seemed to speak highly of them. As soon as my stuff is there I shall report back on their actual shipping ability!!
