Default Shipping company - USA to SYD

Can anyone recommend a shipping company for our household goods from the US
to Oz? I'm guessing at about half a room's worth of furniture, electricals
and personal items.

Thanks in advance,

Nic

Nic,

Just a reminder that the electrical supply here is 220v, not the
US110v. Many things do run fine with a transformer, but these are
EXPENSIVE for large power items (A PS2 take more power then you
think!)

I run some heavy-duty aquarium gear (chiller, lighting etc) that I
bought over from the US, but the transformer is LARGE and weighs about
10kg! TV/video gear is not compatible with Aus broadcast either.

Unless is has sentimental value, you can probably sell your electrial
items to the pawnbroker, and replace on arrival in Aus. Will cut down
the transport cost.

I shipped a 20ft container FULL in May 2002, cost about $US12K,
including packing and insurance. Advice is shop around - part loads
may cost less, but take longer (your stuff will sit until they can
fill the container).

any questions email me at brigette underscre muller att hotmail dot
