Arrow Shipping Car

Is anyone shipping car or got any information on this? I believe there are Customs duties - are these on a sliding scale? do they take into account engine size or whatever? I really want to take my car but want to know how much it will cost me? Any info appreciated - cheers.

I'd do a search if I were you, on here and on other Oz forum, there has been loads of info about this recently.

Try

Karmanshipping.co.uk

I used them 15 years ago to ship a car to NZ and they were really good to =
deal with, and very thorough in how they prepared the car.

Selling our car isn't an option so it's coming with us. At the end of the day it gives us a car from day one as we're sending it to arrive the same week as us. We need a car from the start and we know the car is extremely reliable. It is worth triple it's value over there aswell.

Hi, I think we're shipping it across with some of our furniture in a container. If not I think we were quoted £990 for roll on roll off but the company that quoted this advised us to phone more specialised companies and we would get it cheaper, the reason for this being they do ship cars but not often, they deal with containers or the bulk of their business.
I can't give quotes for the container at the minute as I've misplaced my yellow pages which is where I wrote the quotes (as I wrote on another thread) I have a day off a week today so I'll try to dig it out then and I'll start a thread with all my quotes, some of which were very competitive.
