RRV: Substantial Ties
Hi All,
I have a Permanent visa expiring on Dec 2011, but I have only stayed 11 months in Australia since it was granted.
Now thinking about applying for a 5 year RRV.
What would constitute substantial ties?
My wife is Australian and so are the kids.
( A cheeky way could be that they could fly out before me and then I could use that as an excuse for the RRV? )
All our family is in Australia and we do have bank accounts but no property or car.
Beneficial ties? I work in a career that is forecast to have major shortages this and next year in Australia.
