Default RRv processing times

I am looking at applying for a RRV as our current RRV will run out next year. I see that you can apply on line and I was wondering if anyone out there has experience of this method, and the expected processing time... Or any experience in getting one granted
We are going to apply because although I and daughter are in Aus, my husband will continue to work abroad, which makes is eligible for a 5 year RRV so that we can travel as we like...
Any thoughts welcome!

If you have completed the requirement of 2 years in 5 years, you should get it in a few days.

Eligibility Requirement for a Five year RRV: Residence requirement : You must have spent two of the last five years in Australia as a permanent resident.
The link below outlines the eligibility criteria:

If you meet the 2 year residence requirement, then it's quick, otherwise perhaps a few weeks. Or more.
