Default RPL Help

Hi Guys.

I need to help to RPL report.

I'm confuse about how I can to make RPL report.

for example.

I'm Network Analist. I've 8 experience years and a fews Cisco Certificates but I don't know which knowledge area I must select to make my RPL report.

I want to get "Network Analist" (ANZSCO-263113) and I saw in ACS key knowledge areas this topic.

TECHNOLOGY RESOURCES (TR)

TR1.Hardware and software fundamentals
Hardware fundamentals
Software fundamentals

TR2. Data and information management
Data
Data Governance
Data Architecture, Design
Database Management
Data Security Management
Data Quality Management
Data Warehousing and Data Intelligence

TR3. Networking
Network Classification
Data communication
Internet
Networking hardware

Ok, My job is about Networking but Should I write about database? . I have studied SQL 11 years ago and rarely when I administered a call manager 6 years ago I used sql comands, but I dont have knowlege and experiece about Database.

Also I've experience in other knowledge diferent areas.

Can anybody guide me to maje RPL proyect please? I'm lost.

thank you for your avices

From when I did RPL I think the key was to write about as many subjects as you have experience of, they're trying to asses the depth of your IT knowledge. I seem to recall about 4 was the absolute minimum and that it took quite a lot of effort.

rplhelp.com has examples etc.

But as freebo said, the idea behind an RPL is to convince the ACS that you know your industry, therefore, you should fill in as much as you can in as many subjects as possible. if database management and datawarehousing isn't relevent then don't fill it in.

But for a network admin you should have hardware and software fundamentals, and you should certainly understand something about data if not neccessarily database centric knowledge. So i'd expect you to understand the use of data, it's governance and security and also to understand data quality?
