I am wondering if Rheumatoid Arthritis has ever stopped anyone from migrating to Australia. I imagine it might be an issue for the main applicant, but what about a spouse or dependant?

Would partly depend on how bad it is, how it affects the person's life, and are they likely to be a financial drain on the Aussie healthcare system.

All those migrating permanently will need a medical. As Pollyanna states, it depends on the functional affect the arthritis is having. Have a look at this link and in particular Attachment 4 on page 46. The grading for arthritis is listed at the top of this page
