return of skills assessment paperwork
hope someone can help with this,
my wife has just received a positive skills assessment from the Australian Nursing Council but they are keeping all the original paperwork that she sent them on file for 3 years but will not return it. On the checklist page of Book 6 it states 'skills assessment from a relevant assessing authority (including all documents provided to the assessing body with your application for assessment). Has anyone else, especially nurses, come across this problem?

Send in the certificate that the ANC have sent you and I just sent copies of everything that I had sent to the ANC for my assessment. Some other people just sent in the assessment certificate and haven't had any problems.

Forms kept by ANC
ANC keeps the documents sent to them for some years. I recommend that your spouse send them the assessment letter and, if she could, certified copies of the documents sent to ANC. Perhaps, it would have been a great idea if she had sent certified copies to ANC. DIMIA may request for some of the copies of documents she sent to ANC.

Re: return of skills assessment paperwork
Hi Andy,
You are expected to provide a duplicate set to DIMIA. If you sent originals
to ANCI, you'll need to negotiate with them for the return of those
documents.
