Hi
We have been living in Australia for over just over 2 years as Permanent Residents. Our PR visa expired in Feb 2012.
We would like to go back to the UK for a holiday at Christmas and as I understand it we should apply for a RRV to enable us to get back into Australia - with the view to be granted the RRV for 5 years. Is this correct? and how long does the process take once the application is lodged.
Also I understand that it is approx $345 per applicant. We have two children under the age of 16 years - do we have to pay this for each of them or are they included in the adult fee?
Thanks for your help
Jo

Processing time for RRV log in Australia is 1 working day. If you come to one of the Department offices and satisfy the 2 yrs requirement, they will grant you the visas right on the spot. And yes applications can't be combined, $345 each.
