when case officers request for meds to be done, how long do they give you, generally?? just wondering.... thanks

I had a request for medicals and also to return form 80, on the 29th Aug, the case officer gave me a deadline of 42 days (6 weeks) whether they stick to that rigidly I have no idea. I had medicals done on the 15th Sept and sent form 80 back via DHL on Wed this week, I emailed the CO this morning to tell him that the form was on its way and should reach him by Monday, I also mentioned to him, that I told the panel doctor of my deadline which is 10th Oct and that it is now out of my hands as to whether the Dr gets them to Sydney on time.

My CO emailed me back today to thank me for keeping him informed.
