Relevant work experience.
Hi,
I am confused about who assesses work experience for some occupations, particularly non-trade. I am keen to emigrate under either Residential Care Officer occupation or possibly Social Professional nec. I know that my degree will be assessed by vetassess however who looks at my work experience? I want to be sure I have relevant experience before applying. I have found information on Australian Immigration website for duties for Residential Care Officer but all I found for Social Professional nec was examples of similar occupations. If I qualify under this occupation I could gain a much needed 10 extra points.
Any advice most welcome.
thanks
cathy

Re: Relevant work experience.
Some skill assessing authorities require work experience, others do not.
DIAC always have their standard work experience requirements, except for eligible graduates. These are not necessarily the same as those of a skill assessing body.
