we used an migration agency & yes it costs money but to be honest we did it for the peace of mind - they were great, really helpful

Hi Liz,

If you don't mind me asking, why are you looking for a migration lawyer in Ireland?

Is it to stay in Ireland or to migrate to Australia?

If it is for advice on migrating to Australia about the only place you'll find someone who is a lawyer specialising in Australian migration is in Australia itself.

If all you need is an Australian Registered Migration Agent then you may well find someone in Ireland, but I don't know of any. A lot of people in the UK and Ireland quite happily use Australian based RMAs because of the immediacy of emails and the willingness (at least in our case) to talk to people in the UK on the phone as and when required. We use Skype so the cost for that is negligible.

With best regards,

Les

Thanks, Dorothy.

At the time of my post I hadn't read the earlier thread.

Cheers,

No you wouldn't be mad to do it yourself. If you check out the Immi Site, and do the visa wizard it will help you work out what visa you require. Once you've read the relevant booklet several hundred times you should be able to decide if you need help or not. Even if you do, you could still do it yourself by getting all the help and advice on here.

Did you use a migration lawyer or an agent? They are different things.

Hi,

Yes we used her and I would recommend her to anyone. She was fantastic and worth every penny! My brother is also using her. She is in Kildare. Google her to get address. Best of luck!
