Default query regarding medicals and police checks

Hi

Since the new 2012 category 5 rules i dont check our status page vey often. I opened it today and it still says 'processing commenced'. However, next to Health requirements it now says 'outstanding' and there are messages telling us to complete form 26EH and undertake a medical exam. Is this a case officer instructing us to get our meds? Im pretty sure our status didnt have these instructions before but its been a while since i looked.

Is this normally how you would be contacted to have your meds? Should we expect an email? Nothing else on the documents has changed. It all still says required.

Also, i pressumed when you booked your meds you would also apply for police checks. Dont these both have the same life span? (1 year). There is nothing at all on our staus page or document checklist that even mentions a police check.

Sorry if im rambling.....very excited.

Sorry to be a party pooper. On-line status means nothing without a CO email. The CO does not communicate with you by making updates to your status page they will contact you specifically by email if they require something. The status page says outstanding or required from day one.

Good luck with your app, hope you get the email soon.
