Default Query about medical processed by LCU

Hi All,

My relative family applied under 139 subclass and their time line is as under:

1. application Lodged - 23-May-2005
2. AoS, Meds / PCC requested - 26-Sep-2005
3. AoS approved, bond lodged on 26 oct and approval sent to DIMIA on 29 oct
4. Employer Reference Checked on 30th oct
5. PCC and other docs sent on 12-Nov-2005
6. Medical received by LCU on 06.12.05 (Medical was delayed as applicant's spouse had opacity in chest x-ray. Panel doctor asked to undergo TB skin test, CT Scan, AFB test and BIOPSY etc. All the results were ok and nothing abnormal found).

In response to Medical Status query request LCU responded in 48 hours to main applicant as:

***************
Dear applicant,

Please be advised your medicals have been cleared dated 14/12/2005.

For further enquiries please contact the case officer in charge of your
visa application.

Thankyou

Regards

************

I need your comments about what we learned from other posts that "medicals have been cleared" means medicals were ok for the whole family. It is supported by the fact that after two weeks of medical processing, applicants have not received any letter from LCU to undergo further tests (that is usually sent if there is any issue with medicals). Do you think any other process to be completed by CO before finalising this case.

Thanks very much in anticipation.

cheers!

Have you all had such acknowledgement?
Or is it only if one sends email and asks if meds have arrived to Sydney or not?
We have not hear anything since they requested meds to be done... Should i worry?...

We've had no confirmation. Don't think you should worry, unless you had a problem with your x-ray or Medical. Just have to sit back now and wait for your Visa

While inquiring on your medical results, it is essential that you provide
the following information:

1. Name of Applicant
2. Date of Birth
3. Passport number
2. Visa Applied For
3. Date Medicals Dispatched
4. Method of Dispatch (Courier/Standard)
5. If sent by Courier, then include:

before contacting LCU.

Cheers!
