I spoke to them in first week of March and they said the time line has been increased to 7-8 weeks now rather that 3-4 weeks due to excess of applications recieved. I was lucky that got through just one week ago before they changed the process. They also mentioned that it is also because DIAC has changed the way they process applications.

I have applied and according to the US Postal service the package was delivered 10-Mar-2009. I have not yet received a confirmation email though.

It takes them almost 2 weeks after reciept to send an acknowledgment e mail.. Atleast it was in my case..And then after 2 weeks of e mail i recieved nomination letter...Took 4 weeks in all...

I have read somewhere (maybe even on here) that their processing times are rapidly increasing so that may be why it's taking so long.
Hope you don't have to wait too long.
